All wrapped up
03:16
|
|||
Feels like I’ve waited all year
Mistletoe hangs on the door
Time seems so loud in the silence
And I just can’t wait anymore
Sitting here up by the window
Watching the snow on the glass
Hearing your steps in the hallway
And I know that you’re home at last
I’ve got you all wrapped up
In my arms knowing
That you always felt this way too
Is the only gift that I need
Christmas can be wrapped
Up here with me
It’s been an age since I’ve seen you
Your photograph sits by my bed
Wondering if you have changed at all
From the image that’s burned in my head
And how long until I can hold you
Impatiently waiting inside
Leave the cold there on the doorstep
Let shut out the winter tonight
I’ve got you all wrapped up
In my arms knowing
That you always felt this way too
Is the only gift that I need
Christmas can
Be wrapped up here with me
Home
There no place like home
Wherever you are
That’s where I’ll be
That’s where I’m…
All wrapped up in your arms
Knowing that you
Always felt this way too
Is the only gift that I need
Christmas can be
Wrapped up here with me

See through
02:26
|

No two are the same
No two are the same
Floating to the ground
Never quite alike
Never quite alike
Doesn't make a sound
So much happens on the way
Different path, a different day
You think you know
But you can see
Right through
Knowing you're unique
Knowing you're unique
Feels like you're alone
Changing all the time
Changing all the time
Falling like a stone
Catch the moment when they fall
Different cloud, a different storm
You think you know
But you can see
Right through

Will it snow?
03:33
|
|||
Everywhere, people stare, out of their windows
Pass the hour, watch the clock, letting the day go
Looking for so much more, hoping it all turns white
Children lie in their beds, patiently waiting
All the folks hold their breath, anticipating
Evening falls, over town, blurring it out of sight
Heavy in the sky
Doesn't feel like rain
When the winter winds begin to blow
Oh, will it ever snow?
Weathermen shake their heads, say it's unlikely
Teachers with fingers crossed, dream that it might be,
Just enough, overnight, dusting the streets and cars
Railway lines, thick with frost, trains are all sleeping
Traffic slows, lights are on, cautiously creeping,
See it freeze on the road, making it shine like stars
Something in the clouds,
Can you feel the chill
When the winter winds begin to blow
Oh, will it ever snow?
Hands and feet, cold as ice, scarves wrapped in circles,
Silence weighs in the air, pavements like marble
Knowing how time will stop and make the world so still.

There's a song in the air
There's a star in the sky
There's a mothers' deep prayer and
And a baby's low cry
And the star rains it fire
While the beautiful sing
For the manger of Bethlehem
Cradles a king
And the light from the star
Ad the joy in your heart
Know this sweet melody
Will ne'er be far
Through the echoes we hear
In the voices now gone
As your soul fills with love from
This beautiful song
